We will be participating in the Centralia Rec. Center’s swim safety program. We will have classroom instruction on Tuesdays at school. We will go to the Rec. Center to apply what we have learned on Thursdays. This program will run only for the months of March and April.
Each student will need to bring the appropriate materials to participate.
**Swimsuit--Girls please wear a one piece and boys please wear a boxer style suit versus a speedo.
**Towel
**Hair brush and Hair tie
**A beach bag or plastic bag for wet items after swimming.
WE MUST CHANGE AT SCHOOL BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE REC CENTER. A girl may wear her swimsuit UNDER her clothes to school and also bring underwear to change into at the Rec. Center. A boy may wear his swimsuit to school if it is of modest length and has a support liner inside. A pair of underwear and spare shorts will also be needed to change into at the Rec. Center.
